People get more excited
about their cell phone connections
than they do about
the people they sit next to,
as if flesh and bone
are secondary to their
Blackberry
or Android
or whatever contraptions
that seem to be
glued in their hand.
What's the point of reading palms?
Just read their e-mails
and you can see
where their life is heading.
They won't know
you're looking over their shoulder.
Life is a hand-held
connection to the Web
and all that matters is
speed and the number
next to the G.
