she is devoid of flesh,
of bone, and of muscle.
She walks weightless in
the vast space of nature
as she becomes it and
it becomes her, two
entities seamlessly
joining into one, both
accepting each other
with joy, unencumbered
by boundaries. Breezes
blow through her with
no resistance and now
she can breathe, breathe
and greedily inhale the
freshness all around her,
let it fill her body like elixir,
the perfect remedy against
the doldrums and humdrums
of city life, of big buildings
and small cubicles. Now
is not the time for business suits
or deadlines, but instead
to lay down with Mother Earth.

ah, what a cool symbiosis...becoming so one with nature...nature is often where i retreat to when i need...to lay the suit and all the expectations down...smiles.
Oh, yes... This is why I could never live in a big city... I need those wide open spaces that let you breathe.
I really like the way you spun this!
Lovely.
Mother Earth fills me up with her beauty and there is nothing more joyous than laying down on her, closing my eyes and becoming as one.

This is a poem that I take to heart. We need to take the time to be a part of the earth rather than the machine. Excellent.
